Dammit.
Why?
Why did this have to happen?
When the summer’s sun is hiding and
Winds are harsh against our backs
This wasn’t fair, though he knew that life usually never was. But still he couldn’t help but to curse it at the moment as he held the crinkled newspaper in his hand. He could no longer remember how many times he had read over that article, how long it took for the reality of it to finally sink in.
Everything seems to overlap
Feeling tears falling from his eyes again he gritted his teeth. Dammit! This wasn’t how it was supposed to go! He lashed out and punched the deck below him, though his crew didn’t rush out to try and stop him. They knew it was something that their words wouldn’t be able to heal right away.
I’ll sing in your memory
All the times you’ve spent with me
“W-Why!?” he screamed out to the sky before him. Because it was the only thing he could do now, “Didn’t we make a promise?! You said that you’d get a long stronger and that I would too! Until the next time we met! But how can we do that now…”
We’ve lost your name but I’ll sing for you
Falling to his knees he brought the paper to his chest, “Idiot…you said that you wouldn’t die…”
(( Lyrics are from Miku-tan’s english version of Euterpe ))
