“Oi Zoro!” Luffy shouted as he waved over to the swordsman energetically, perhaps hoping that his first mate would come over and help fight off some of the boredom that he was experiencing.
“Hm?” Having sufficiently zoned out yet again during his supposed watch duty, Zoro blinked to refocus on his surroundings. He hadn’t expected company up in the crow’s nest, since the crew usually left him to his own devices unless it was time to eat (and even then, he wasn’t exactly happy-bouncy when that irritating voice called up for him to announce mealtime). But then again, it was Luffy. Any and all rules of normalcy didn’t quite apply. He supposed he didn’t mind.
Turning to face the captain, he nodded. “Hey, Luffy. Need something?”
The younger boy chuckled as he fully climbed into the crow’s nest. It sounded like Zoro had either just woken up or could of been well on his way to falling asleep, “Ne, I’m bored,” he began, “Do you have anything interesting to do?” He normally knew better than to pester Zoro about things like this, but this was dire. Everyone else was shooing him away. Something with them being too busy or wanting to just get things done. So really, Zoro was his only hope of ever curing his boredom.
